In response to COVID-19, The International Girls Academy created a week long of virtual events for Students Teachers, and Parents during these uncertain times. Global Youth Education week will be from April 11-18, 2020. Students who participate in Global Youth Education Week will have the chance to produce projects, activities throughout the week for various prizes throughout the week. Parents and Teachers who participate will also have the opportunity to win prizes and gifts throughout the week.

The International Girls Academy officially launched January 2020, servicing three hundred students throughout the tri-state area. The focus of The International Girls Academy is to provide access to underreppresented girls from 3rd-12th with respect to S.T.E.A.M, Civics Engagement, Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship with an emphasis on Global Education to help change the trajectory in which students see themselves and their communities.
