- Murphy signed an Executive Order today allowing municipalities to extend the grace period for property tax payments due on May 1st to June 1st.
- Hudson County currently has 14,309 cases.
- As of last night, Jersey City has 4,975 cases.

National + International
- The United States currently has over 1,000,000 positive cases of COVID-19. Over 114,000 individuals have recovered.
- New York’s daily toll of hospitalizations is under 1,000 for the first time in a month.
- New York City will be closing 40 miles of streets to cars next month so pedestrians have more room to walk.
- The ECDC have announced that a vaccine will likely not be ready until the end of 2021.
- The Tokyo Olympics may be cancelled next summer if the pandemic is not yet over.
- Los Angeles County is expanding testing to include asymptomatic delivery drivers, rideshare drivers, and taxi drivers. Asymptomatic residents of Boston will also undergo testing.
- Cuomo announced that if hospitalizations continue to fall, some parts of the state (not New York City) may open by mid-May.
- Judge Clay Jenkins advised residents to stay safe and go against the orders of Texas Governor Greg Abbott.
- France has cancelled the remaining 2019,2020 football season.
- Greece is planning to ease some lockdown restrictions next week.
- Italy has recorded over 200,000 confirmed coronavirus cases, including deaths and recoveries.
