- New Jersey is reporting a total of 102,196 positive cases. The statewide fatalities is now a total of 5,617.
- As of last night: there are currently 6,847 hospitalizations connected to COVID-19. 98 patients are currently at field medical stations. 1,933 require critical/intensive care.
- Hudson County currently has 12,645 cases.
- As of this afternoon, Jersey City has 4,442 cases.
- Jersey City has moved to cancel their Open Space Trust Fund Tax, the Arts Trust Fund Tax, and they have cancelled the 4th of July Festival to direct those funds towards local relief.
- Next week, parking enforcement and street sweeping will be enforced on main streets in Jersey City. The city will also begin to gradually reopen larger parks while maintaining social distancing measures.

- Murphy is signing an executive order to allow renters to use their security deposits to pay rent. The state now has an FAQ section for landlords and tenants regarding their rights – covid19.nj.gov/renter.
- New Jersey has received a donation of a million surgical masks today.

- Staff and residents will be tested at each of the five state developmental centers using Rutgers’ saliva-based test.
- State are facing the possibility of not having enough money to pay for first responders and frontline workers after the Department of Treasury issued guidance on using funds through the CARES Act.
- The AT&T Foundation and the NJ Restaurant and Hospitality Association are providing meals to healthcare professionals and support staff at the Secaucus and Edison field medical stations.
- Through the JC Relief Squad efforts, meals from Delenio were provided to Christ Hospital staff.

- The United States currently has over 880,000 positive cases. Over 81,000 individuals have recovered.
- Lysol has put out a statement to clarify that their products should not be ingested or injected after Trump suggested that as a possible treatment for the virus.
- The UK government will start trials of drone delivery for medicine and medical equipment.
- Research has shown that the virus was spreading earlier than US health officials originally thought.
- Beaches in Sydney has shut down again since people didn’t follow the exercise-only rule.
- The House of Representatives have approved a $480 billion package for small businesses, hospitals, expansion of testing.
- These states have started to loosen their restrictions: Georgia, Oklahoma, Tennessee, South Carolina, Colorado, Florida, Pennsylvania, Vermont, and Idaho.
- The UK is hosting a Global Vaccines Summit on June 4 to encourage people to support the development of a COVID-19 vaccine.
