A little over a month ago, I launched a new column: Journey To Abs
. It’s all about how I got in shape both mentally and physically. To my surprise, the response to my new column has been amazing and I am so excited to share my knowledge and experience with my readers.
I’ve always been an avid exerciser. Fun fact: I used to be a personal trainer and spinning instructor! After having my daughter, I continued to exercise but hadn’t really taken it seriously until last year.
I’ve been documenting my workouts on social media and always get asked what I do. So I decided to team up with the people I work out with to create a video series of workouts that anyone can do! No excuses.
I’ve been training with Chris Young at Ironplate Studios for the past year and have a love-hate relationship with him. He kicks my ass, but I have my abs to thank him for. Chris doesn’t mess around and he enjoys it when I say, “I HATE YOU.”
Good times.
The Workout: 15-Minute Body Weight Workout
What you need: Just a little space and a stop watch
1 Minute Warmup: Jumping Jacks
Perform each exercise for 1 Minute and do as many sets as you can in 15 minutes.
Rest one minute in between sets.
This is fantastic! I’ve been looking around for bodyweight exercises lately because I don’t really want to spend a bunch of money on equipment. This is exactly the type of thing I was looking for!
