"I knew who Chicpea was when I first moved to Jersey City 6 years ago from a friend who put me on to her. Following her page I saw that she was going really nice things for local businesses helping in spreading the word about what business was where. I saw she was doing a feature on a local barber shop next to me, so I thought it was my chance to approach her. I’m not one to use social media much, I really like talking to people in person rather than online. So, as I saw she was leaving the barber shop I ran up next to her and showed her my business that was across the street. At the time, I was considering moving back down to Florida, so I needed help selling everything I had. Funny thing about that was that from one post she made for me not only did I sell all my plants but then I had gained many followers/customers that knew I sold plants for half the cost what everybody else was selling for and from that I decided to stay and just run the business from my house.
