Crystal is an editor, painter, and writer. A recent journalism graduate from NJCU, she fell in love with writing and painting. She is intrigued at being able to make people feel a certain way when it comes to reading. She believes that nothing but raw emotion makes for something meaningful and memorable.

She was born and raised in Jersey City— she is the assistant to the executive director of Art House Productions and the editor in chief of ChicpeaJC. Art House Productions and ChicpeaJC have given her the opportunity to get the best of both the art and the writing world. She has had work featured online and in print for NJCU’s The Gothic Times and PATHs. She also writes poetry on her personal blog.

Most of her time on the CHICpeaJC blog is spent editing key works, transcribing amazing interviews, and reeling in a few interviews of her own.
